CEO’s income range varies GREATLY from business to business. There is no finite way to even give you an accurate average on this.
As for the degree, the same applies here. Some CEO’s have engineering degrees, others have their MBAs. Some have pharmaceutical degrees. It’s impossible to narrow it down without an industry specific.
Keep in mind that wage also vary from State to State, City to City, and County to County. The scale is so far apart that any answer you get here can and will be way off margin.
