What will it take to get the message to the Bush administration that they need to spend more on defense?

All they care about is war-deficit spending. That’s why massive cuts in funding to hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, schools, social security, scientific research programs…you name it have been made. This also needs to stop.
But the lack of defense spending after 9/11 is utterly unforgivable. Both parties and our administration need to work harder to keep us secure or else illegal immigration could turn into illegal integration of new terrorists. We don’t want another 9/11, now do we?
Will the Bush administration listen to us on this if 10’s of millions of citizens write them a letter? I don’t know if that will work, because they don’t seem to be inclined to represent our wishes.

    Bush gets it! It’s the liberal democrats that want to dissolve the military. Billy Boy Clinton started it while in office. Now Queen Hillary wants to get into office and finish it.

    where is the lack of defense spending??? we spend more on defense than all the other countries combined. We need to stop companies from making insane profits and from stealing from the government. We should be spending less on defense and getting more bang for the buck.
